YOUR WOUNDS MUST BE HEALED
Bible Ref: Isaiah 53:5-6, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 41:3,
Exodus 15:26, Psalm 107:19-20, Isaiah 61:1
The word WOUND in the
context of this reflection, are visible and invisible situations, whether
psychological or not, that hinders the children of God from feeling at ease and
happy with God. It could be sin (Esp.: sin of addiction), it could be malignant
sickness of all sorts;it could be poverty and other demonic oppression.
It is an unbend truism that
Jesus gave his life for our freedom (emancipation), peace, happiness and
salvation. Thank you Jesus my saviour; as the Spirit directs we are emphasizing
on the word: MUST. Why must your numerous wounds be healed? Join me let’s look
into the scripture.
Isaiah 61:1
“The Sovereign Lord has
filled me with His Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me.” Ponderwith
me in the spirit on the above line of the scripture. Who is the Sovereign LORD? He is the Almighty father of our Lord
Jesus Christ. Who did He chose? He
chose Jesus his only begotten son and He was filled with the Holy Spirit. Now,
we can see the Trinity at work. The father chooses the son and the son was
filled with the Holy Spirit. This was exactly what was demonstrated when Jesus
was baptized by John in River Jordan.
Luke 3:21-22KJV
“Now when all the people
were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying,
the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a
dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved
Son; in thee I am well pleased.”

The voice of God clearly proved beyond doubt that He (Jesus Christ) was chosen by the Father Almighty. And that Jesus is indeed His beloved son.Say this in your mind with faith: Jesus the beloved son of God came just to save me. Listen he achieved this by the shedding of his blood, alleluia. Praise God.And now, I can feel the peace and joy of salvation in my soul because of what Christ Jesus had done many years ago. So Jesus was actually chosen, yes, for sure, he was chosen for a purpose and we are the sole purpose of His mission on earth. The Holy Spirit was never left out; He came down upon Jesus in a bodily form like a dove confirming the prophecy of prophet Isaiah when he prophesied in Isaiah 61 in verse number 1. “The Sovereign Lord has filled me with His Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me.” God revealed through Isaiah the prophet that Jesus was chosen to bring good news to the poor. To heal the broken hearted. To announce release to captives and freedom to those in prison, the people Jesus had been sent to are people suffering of these wounds: the broken hearted, the poor, the captives, the prisoners and the sick. To achieve all these, He must give up Himself as a Holy sacrifice by accepting a shameful death on the cross.Alleluia, the Master had paid the price with his own blameless and costly blood. Open your bible to Isaiah 53:5, it was written: “Because of our sins (Jesus) He was wounded.” Did just see that, he willfully allowed himself scourged and woundedterribly by mortals, so that he can buy all our wounds that we deserve as a result of our sin, so that our been healed becomes but a must affair. Praise the Lord, I love Jesus Christ. He paid the price and so we must be saved, healed and be of good health.Jesus Christ is the master key; He is the right key to a healthy living. Alleluia!

Isaiah 53:5 continuing from
where we stopped, “Beaten because of the evil we did.” If Christ Jesus the
Anointed was beaten for your sake what then can oppress you. You have to know
this, believeand build your faith on this. We are victories in Christ Jesus and
have triumphed over all demonic oppression, in form of sickness, poverty,
depression, anxiety, worry, premature death, fear and many other satanic vices.
Christ Has won the battle for us; hence we must remain steadfast and happy in
the finished work of our good Lord.
The last part of Isaiah
53:5, opined, “we are healed by the punishment He suffered, made whole by the blows
He received.” This is the good news child of God, we are healed from
all infirmities, typhoid, malaria, cancer, infection diseases, kidney failure, obesity, yellow fever,
tumor, HIV(AIDs), ulcer and diabetes etc. in Christ Jesus we have
conquered all the above sicknesses. Why: He suffered and took upon Himself the
punishment we deserved and healed us and made us whole by the blows He
received. And that was why the scripture said in Philippians2:9-10, that at the
mentioned of the name of Jesus, every-kneel must bow, because His name was
raised and Glorified above every other names (including names of sickness and
ugly situations). Dear friend are you addicted to a particular sin, Open your heart
to Jesus,He will come in and heal you. Your miracle is close at hand as you
accept Master Jesus into your life and you will never see yourself in that ugly
situation. If you believe say: Jesus I believe you are my healer, come and heal
me now.” If you have just said that believe with all your heart something
positive has taken place inside of you. Alleluia.
FAITH DECLARATION
“Now you can join me make a
declaration of faith: “In the name of Jesus Christ every wounds in my life are
healed. I am healed.” Amen
PRAYER
Almighty
father heal my unbelief and shine your glorious light in my heart, to believe
without doubt what your son Jesus had done for me. By His stripes I am healed.”
Amen.
